SCRWA Source Water Protection Programs

site under construction

One of the most important trends in water utilities around the country is the development of source water protection plans. Local supremacy agencies, governments and the EPA have all thrown their support behind the development of these vital programs. SCRWA currently has two programs to help systems throughout the state develop their own localized protection plans. By developing and implementing these plans, systems are making an investment in their future by securing the resources that we all depend on.

Whether your system relies on groundwater, surface water or both to supply your customers, SCRWA is here to help you make sure that the water keeps flowing. Please contact Jill Miller(Upstate/Midlands) or Nick Rubin(Lowcountry/Midlands) to get started. Interested in getting involved on your own? Check out the side bar for resources on developing a protection plan for your community or business.
