SCRWA Program Director / Ex. VP
Phil Harris has been employed with the South Carolina Rural Water
Association (SCRWA) since April 1, 1990. Prior to his employment with SCRWA, Phil
served for seven years as Operations and Maintenance Manager for a county wide wastewater
system. Phil has obtained training in the areas of laboratory controls and analysis,
sludge handling, activated sludge process control, pump maintenance, and has completed
several correspondence courses from Clemson University. His expertise is in
activated sludge process and collection systems. Phil is a "B" level
certified Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. Phil is a registered
circuit rider with the National Rural Water Association (NRWA). He was also the 1997
recipient of the Wastewater Technician of the Year Award from NRWA. Phil is married
to Veda and resides in Fair Play, SC. |
