Jay LeGrand

SCRWA Wastewater Technician

Jay LeGrand began employment with S.C. Rural Water Association on October 14, 2002 as a Wastewater Technician and has over 25 years experience in wastewater and water treatment. He has worked with the following types of treatment processes; rbc's, aerated lagoons, trickling filters, anaerobic & aerobic digesters, diffused air floatation thickener, vacuum filters, sludge incinerators, drying beds, belt press and high rate sand filters.

Jay has two "A" certificates, one for Biological Wastewater Treatment and
one for Water Treatment. He also possesses a "C" Certificate for Distribution. His main expertise is the laboratory testing of both Wastewater and Water samples.

Jay lives in Liberty, S.C. with his wife Mary and their two daughters, Danielle and Gabrielle.
