Floating Aerator - accepting bids until APRIL 15, 2010 2:00 PM
The City of Union is accepting bids on a Model 1255-SS Aqua-Lator floating aerator manufactured by Aerators, Inc.
This aerator has been in service at our wastewater facility since 1990. Aerator includes a 25 hp motor (1200 RPMS, 3 Phase/460 Volts), a direct drive impeller driven at a constant speed and an integral floatation unit. All bolts, nuts and screws are stainless steel. There are minimal defects with this equipment as it has been in a preventive maintenance schedule since installation.
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Union, South Carolina at the Union City Hall, Attn: Joe Nichols, 101 Sharpe Avenue, Union, South Carolina at 2:00 pm local time on April 15, 2010 at which time and place the bids shall be publicly opened and read.
You may view this equipment by appointment only by calling 429-1723 between 8am – 4pm.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals and to accept any proposal which is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Union.
