SCRWA is NOT a regulatory agency nor does it have any jurisdiction over the operations and policies of utility systems in the state of South Carolina. If you have an issue with a water or wastewater system, the proper course of action is as follows:

1. Discuss the issue with the Customer Service representative.
You may wish to ask for a written copy of their policy on the issue at hand.
2. Discuss the issue with the Utility Director or Facility Manager.
3. Attend a Board/Council Meeting and voice your grievance.
